Autumn

The falling leaves
fall and pile up; the rain
beats on the rain.

The Ginkgo is a gymnosperm and one of the oldest trees in existence. It has managed to survive all of the breakdowns that Nature has thrown at it and survives quite well, especially in smog filled cities. They are cresting today with a glorious golden color against the cool dark blue fall sky.

Just a thought. And yes they are from China. Although grown from seeds here.
