Summer Intern Flower Color Studies

I am looking for a summer intern, high school or college, with interest in experimental work on the analysis of flower color. The effort would entail the preparation of slides of sections of flowers and the analysis of the pigment coloration to determine the relative concentrations of anthocyanins. The project would result in a short paper recording the details of the work. No lab or field experience would be necessary just an interest in discovering the genes and pathways which control color and patterning. See Telmarc Gardens. Modest stipend available. This would be a learning experience and we are quite flexible. The location would be in northern New Jersey.
